How to Enter Contests:
A listener may enter any on-air contest by calling or texting when the announcer asks for a specific numbered caller or text message, or a
specified contest trigger airs. That caller will then participate in the contest, if
applicable, and win prizes for either successful participation in the contest, or
for being the specified numbered caller.
Eligibility Restrictions:
UNLESS otherwise noted Any listener 18 year of age or older may enter
except employees of JVC BROADCASTING., participating sponsors, or other
radio stations in the FORT WALTON BEACH areas and their respective
families. Family is defined as parents, children, spouses, in-laws, and people
in spouse-like relationships, siblings, including those in step and half relations
where living in the same household. Those who have been employed by JVC
BROADCASTING. in the past 90 days are also ineligible. Eligible participants
can win a Rebel Radio contest only once every thirty days and a prize valued at
$600 or more only once every six months. Only one winner per household is
permitted in any contest.
Prizes:
Prizes may vary. The estimated value of the prize package awarded for each
contest is approximately $25.00-$250.00. Prizes are furnished to Rebel Radio in
exchange for promotional consideration. Prizes are to be redeemed at the Fort Walton Beach Studios unless informed otherwise. In instances where prizes
are mailed, Rebel Radio is not responsible for mis-delivered, non-delivered or
damaged prizes. All winners redeeming a prize in person must bring valid photo identification
when claiming their prize. All prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) days of
winning. The winner must claim their prize at the JVC Broadcasting offices, 111 ferry rd
Se, Fort Walton Beach, Florida – 32548 during regular business hours,
Monday through Friday 9:00am-4:00pm. If the prize is not claimed within the allotted time, it will be forfeited by the winner and will become the property of
Rebel Radio. All winners must sign a receipt of prize form and are solely
responsible for reporting and paying all taxes on prizes, if applicable.
Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or
redeemed for cash, except that Rebel Radio may, at its sole discretion, substitute
prizes or cash of comparable value.
Selection of Winners:
Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final. Based
on the specific contest, winners are selected by being the designated caller, or
the caller correctly answering the contest’s trivia question(s).
Online/Internet Contests
By the use of the WBON website and by entering this contest, contestants
agree to the WBON website user agreement and privacy policy as described
on rebelradiofm.com
Only one internet entry per email address is permitted per day during contest periods. Internet
entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address, or phone
number for text the studio contests submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder
is the natural person who is assigned to the email address or phone number by an Internet access
provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email
address or the domain associated with the submitted email address or phone number.
Conditions:
As a consequence of delays in the online streaming of the Rebel Radio signal
compared to over-the-air broadcasts, online listeners may be at a
disadvantage in attempting to participate in on-air contests. Entrants are
encouraged to listen to the Station on-air. Rebel Radio is not responsible for online
streaming delays.
Rebel Radio disclaims any responsibility for a participant’s inability to complete a
telephone call- or text message, whether due to telephone equipment
malfunction, busy lines, or otherwise. Rebel Radio also disclaims any responsibility
for a participant’s inability to claim their prizes. By participating in the contest,
the winner agrees to allow their name, voice and/or likeness to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest for a period of one
year without additional financial or other compensation, where applicable by law.
By participating in this contest, each winner agrees to hold Rebel Radio,, JVC
BROADCASTING, and the respective officers, shareholders, directors,
employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless from and
against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize
or participation in the contest.
These rules are subject to the interpretation of Rebel Radio. Any aspect of these
rules, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater
value, can be changed at the discretion of Rebel Radio, such changes will become
effective upon on-air or other appropriate announcement.
No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s
disqualification, at the sole discretion of rebel Radio.
Rebel Radio is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the
offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcements of any
